Local Group inventory

This website is aimed to be an inventory of all the astronomical objects and substructure belonging to the Local Group. This means keeping an updated list of objects, their location, their extent and their physical and chemical properties.

The inventory includes the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxies, the satellite galaxies and the streams. Because updated lists of globular clusters already exist, these have initially not been included. Nevertheless you can find links to those lists in the Links section.
